I provide expert training for dogs of all ages—from playful puppies to senior companions—addressing a variety of behavioral challenges, including:
- Housebreaking & crate training
- Play-biting & jumping on people/furniture
- Counter surfing & excessive barking
- Chewing & aggression issues
- Rushing to the door when guests arrive
Beyond correcting unwanted behaviors, I emphasize proper socialization, teaching dogs to be gentle with children, and fostering mutual respect between dogs and their owners. I also educate owners on understanding canine body language and communicating effectively for a peaceful, well-balanced relationship.
With 30 years of experience, my approach is tailored to the individual needs of each dog and owner. Good manners and respect stem from structure, consistency, and clear expectations. I help owners appreciate their dog’s breed-specific traits while establishing a positive and cooperative dynamic.
For rescue dogs, I believe in guidance rather than pity. A rescued dog is safe now, and the greatest gift you can offer is stability, confidence, and the opportunity to thrive in their new home.

Just had an amazing session with Marcia (aka the dog whisperer!) with Marcia’s Best Dogs. I feel like I have a new dog. She completely trained my dog and broke him of his bad habits in 2 hours. I can’t recommend her enough.
